Who am I?

I’m Ryan Roddy: entrepreneur, venture investor, operator, and lifelong builder.

As Managing Partner and Co-Founder at Seaside Ventures, I invest in the next generation of consumer health technologies—innovations that don’t just manage symptoms, but tackle root causes to improve how people live, move, and feel every day.

Before Seaside Ventures, I was co-founder and CEO of Kyoku, a superfood nutrition brand for endurance athletes. We took on the challenge of making elite-level nutrition truly accessible, ultimately joining forces with The Feed, one of the largest online marketplaces for endurance sports nutrition.

Building and backing mission-driven companies is what energizes me. Today, I spend my time collaborating with visionary founders who are reshaping health at scale. We’re working on bringing laboratory-grade diagnostics into the home, designing personalized longevity protocols powered by breakthrough science, and developing solutions to address issues like male infertility and the root causes of metabolic diseases.

At Seaside Ventures, my team and I focus on “Medicine 3.0”—a proactive, preventative, and personalized approach to health. Instead of waiting until problems escalate, we work with companies that empower individuals to optimize well-being before illness strikes. We help founders commercialize their breakthroughs, form strategic partnerships, and scale solutions that can elevate the health and happiness of millions worldwide.

I’m proud to call Austin, Texas my home—a city where innovation thrives, and the future of health is being formed.
